How does a Fraxel treatment work?

Fraxel laser treatment targets damaged skin with microscopic laser columns that penetrate deep into your skin. And since the laser treats only a fraction of tissue at a time, it leaves the surrounding tissue intact, which promotes rapid healing. This stimulates your body’s own natural healing process, replacing the old and damaged cells with fresh, glowing, healthy skin.

What should I expect after the treatment?

Depending on the level of the treatment, you may experience redness or swelling which diminishes as quickly as the next day or over the next several days. Your skin will naturally bronze over the next week or two. As with a sunburn, your skin will flake and exfoliate normally, revealing fresher glowing and smoother looking and feeling skin.

Will it hurt?

We provide numbing cream on the area being treated so that pain is minimal. Following treatment, clients compare the downtime to feeling like a sunburn lasting 5 – 7 days.

Is treatment safe? Are there Risks?
